The customer is a research-based global pharmaceutical company and one of the global leaders of the industry. The customer integrates cutting-edge protein crystallography and drug discovery technologies to efficiently generate Investigational New Drug (IND) candidates for the treatment of metabolic diseases and cancer. Multiple drug candidates discovered at their research center are currently in clinical trials. Their in-house ethical drugs are marketed in approximately 90 countries and are recognized as the leading brand in major countries worldwide.

Challenges
	The client needed to create an integrated suite of applications for their drug discovery research center that would provide a single-point access for all concerned scientists and senior management regarding the progress and status of their research pipeline.
	The suite of applications needed to support a world-class team of experts coming from multiple streams of science and technology, using cutting-edge ideas and technologies in their sciences.
	Solution needed to be able to manage vast amounts of data generated by a large number of ultra-high throughput robots running 24/7 and generating varied types of raw data.
	Solution needed to provide a simple interface for retrieval of relevant information out of all data collated through above processes.
	A single solution that would provide laboratory information management facility to all users at the company.
	This suite of applications would be made accessible to users across multiple sites. Users also include third-party vendor companies that provide BPO services.

They were on the lookout for a competent offshore software development partner that could coordinate with their teams to collect requirements and provide solutions on a continuous basis. This would enable them to streamline the time required to coordinate efforts from different streams of science in order to bring new drugs faster to the market. Using high-level requirements provided by scientists, our team performs requirement analysis, design, development, system, and functional testing of the applications. Applications are delivered to the client during the functional testing state to get timely client feedback. Once the applications are deployed at the client environment, our teams provide support in deployment and configuring of the releases.

Multiple versions of the applications are planned and delivered in a parallel fashion. As the current release of applications is being tested and delivered, requirements are gathered and changed solutions are planned.
