Our Methodology
Successful implementations have a number of common components. The key components are consultants that have strong product knowledge working with client personnel who understand their business and are open to new ways of doing business and consultants with knowledge of specific industries and experience utilizing industry-specific templates and tools.

Implementations can be done faster, cheaper, and more effectively when additional components are added to the mix. CTE utilizes two primary methodologies: Oracle’s Standard AIM, which was developed by Oracle specifically for the implementation of the Oracle e-Business Suite; and CTE's Safe Step Methodology, which was designed by CTE for the implementation of the Oracle e-Business Suite in midsized process manufacturing companies. Safe Step utilizes many of the AIM components, but deviates when called for by the specific and unique needs of our clients.

Upgrade Capabilities
All companies that use the Oracle e-Business suite will want to upgrade at some point. There are minor upgrades that may have little effect on the business and then there are major upgrades that can approach an implementation in terms of their complexity. Some process manufacturing companies have needed to upgrade from Datalogix or Oracle Gemms to current releases of Oracle. Frequently, in these situations it is better to re-implement than to upgrade.
