1. What is CTE’s vision?

CTE’s vision is to be the largest IT services provider to mid-size customer base including standalone midsized enterprises and mid sized divisions of Global 2000 enterprises.

2. What are CTE's main areas of operations?

CTE has four primary areas of operations:

  • IT Consulting including IT Strategy, Enterprise Architecture, IT-Business Alignment, SOA/Business Transformation
  • Custom/SOA/BPM Application Development, Maintenance, Support, Hosting, and Management

3. What are the drivers for the company’s growth?

There are mainly four growth drivers:

  • Increasing customer demand for SOA, Business/IT Transformation, and IT efficiency improvement
  • Rapidly increasing preference of mid-size customer to have a single vendor for all IT services
  • Ability of CTE to increase revenue, profit, and number of customers through a systematic and methodical inorganic growth blue print – which include careful selection and acquisition of complimentary companies, integrating their services to CTE’s one-stop platform, cross selling of services to install base, and consolidation of back office services
  • Increasing recurring revenue stream from customer install base

4. Please explain the business model of CTE?

CTE’s business model calls for being the single stop IT services provider for mid-size enterprises. CTE leverages its Cambridge Center of Innovation (CCI) to help customers define a balanced and aligned strategy including set of IT initiatives to be implemented over three-five years. Examples of the initiatives include new custom solution development, Enterprise Package Implementation, offshore outsourcing etc. By leveraging its matured global delivery model and onsite consulting, CTE implements these initiatives. After these solutions are implemented, CTE again leverages its global delivery model to manage, support, host, and maintain these solution resulting in multi-year recurring revenue.

5. When was CTE incorporated?

Cambridge Technology Enterprises Limited (CTE) was originally incorporated on January 28, 1999, as Unique Computing Solutions (India) Private Limited. In May 2006, as part of the corporate restructuring exercise, Cambridge Technology Enterprises Limited (CTE) was separated from Cell Exchange, Inc. and became an independent entity with its own wholly-owned subsidiary in the United States called Cambridge Technology Enterprises, Inc.

Cambridge Technology Enterprises Limited (CTE), focuses on serving the mid-market enterprises (revenue size of about US $500M to $4B, varies for each segment) in the US and India, especially located in lesser-penetrated geographic areas, and offer them end-to-end IT services and solutions leveraging on the emerging trends of Service Oriented Architecture.
