With the help of a new program Enhanced Outage
Information System (EOIS), which Cambridge Technology Enterprises (CTE)
Inc., helped it develop, JEA can now give customers timely information on
electric outages. JEA can call up its customers, or send them e-mail or text
messages, informing them as soon as power is restored, or notifying them
about the estimated time of restoration of power. Click
