Cambridge Technology Enterprises Announces Correlator 2.1 Certified on Oracle Application Server 10g
Improves Scalability and Performance Through ‘Clustering’

Cambridge, MA, December 22, 2004 — Cambridge Technology Enterprises (CTE), a system integrator; which focuses on building and integrating business applications for broad transformation needs of energy & utilities, and life-sciences & healthcare sectors; announced that their flagship product, Correlator 2.1, has been certified on Oracle 10g application server on windows platform.

Correlator 2.1 is built over Oracle’s 10g application server that supports clustered-deployment of applications. More importantly, Correlator extends the load balancing and fail-over features of the Oracle 10g application server by way of providing a mechanism for distributing the data to be processed among nodes in the cluster. All the same, it does node management and facilitates node administration transparently to the users.

Correlator enables applications that help businesses track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in real-time. By constantly monitoring business events and correlating them with related information, Correlator applications help the enterprise monitor the health of their businesses in real-time.

Correlator applications enable organizations use up-to-date information to progressively remove delays in the management and execution of their business processes. Using state-of-the-art technology, Correlator applications help organizations stay proactive by anticipating problems before they occur, and seize opportunities before they are lost, thereby delivering competitive advantage to these enterprises.

"Oracle is a world leader in software solutions for information and business management. We are pleased to be able to offer Oracle customers our Correlator product on Oracle 10g application server platform," said Bhaskar Panigrahi, CEO, CTE, Inc.

Correlator applications collect events, process them according to rules set by users and alert the right people when action is needed. By analyzing information in real-time or at the speed at which it is available, Correlator enables real-time event processing.

The latest version of the XML-based Real-Time Event Processing engine, Correlator 2.1 comes with new features, which improve usability of product. ‘Clustering’ will allow applications to support a higher number of events/models.
