Cambridge Technology Enterprises Limited (CTE) Q1 FY 2010 revenues at Rs. 32.20 Crores

Hyderabad, August 06, 2009: Cambridge Technology Enterprises Limited (CTE), a global IT services provider a leading provider of SOA based solutions and Enterprise Transformation applications to midsize enterprises and midsize business units of Global 2000 enterprises, announced its un-audited first quarter results for the fiscal year 2009-2010, 3 months period ending 30th June, 2009 approved by the Board of Directors in the meeting held on 31st July, 2009.

Highlights

Consolidated Results for the quarter ended 30th June, 2009.

  • Total Revenue on consolidated basis for CTE was Rs. 32.20 Crores (USD 6.73 Million) compared to Rs.47.49 Crores (USD 9.92 Million) of revenue for the 3 month period ended 30th June, 2008 which translates to reduction in revenues by 32% year on year on annualized basis. The Q1 revenues compared to Q4 revenues of FY 2009 (sequential revenues) declined by 15%.
  • Loss after Tax was Rs 5.66 Crores (USD 1.18 Million) for the Q1 quarter, compared to Rs. 5.37 Crores (USD 1.12 Million) of profit after tax for the corresponding quarter in the previous year (Q1 FY 2008). Q1 FY 2010 loss compared to Q4 loss after tax of FY 2009, (sequential loss) improved by 19.6%.

Others

During the quarter, CTE figured at 169th position among the top 200 technology companies in India ranked by DataQuest magazine in their annual survey, improving its position of 182 from the year 2008. CTE ranked fifth fastest growing company this year with a growth in revenue of 97% Y-on-Y on an annualized basis.
