Product Maintenance

Companies that sell software products and services face tremendous challenges maintaining older versions of their products during transition phase in their markets. Naturally, new versions are expected to quickly gain position in the market, however many existing customers don’t immediately upgrade to the new version, and therefore maintenance for the old version must continue for some time.
