LAMP Specialist

Oracle DBA consultant
Location: Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh

Experience: 3 – 4 Years
Qualification: M. Sc. (IT)/ B-Tech/ BE/ MCA/ MBA (IT) from reputed institute

Job Description:

    1. Thorough knowledge of Oracle RDBMS 10g in UNIX environments.
    2. Knowledge of Linux/Unix Environment, shell or Perl scripting languages.
    3. Knowledge of Export and Import Utilities.
    4. Keeping database servers up to date and patched
    5. Tuning SQL queries, Troubleshooting performance issues
    6. Exposure to Data modeling tools
    7. Perform Backups for all databases using RMAN and logical backups.
    8. Strong knowledge of SQL*Plus and understanding of PL/SQL and stored procedures/pkgs.
    9. Documenting database system architecture, procedures etc.
    10. Troubleshoot Oracle errors with the help of Alert file and logs; raise TARs with Oracle support
    11. Should also have some exposure to other Databases (SQL Server, MySql)
    12. Preferably Oracle Certified (OCA/OCP)
    13. Provide on-call and technical support as and when required

Job Description:

    1. 4-5 years strong experience in Web based J2EE application
    2. Expertise in Java, JEE, JDBC, JMS, EJB, Struts/Tiles, XML, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, PL/SQL, Ajax implementation
    3. Knowledge in ANT, Yahoo User Interface (YUI), Linux Operating System, Oracle Application Server or OC4J or any equivalent application server
